Deposits (party fee) will reserve your room and instructor. You can plan to spend the first hour creating, 15 minutes for finish/clean up, and the last 45 minutes for eating, opening gifts, etc. We have a refrigerator and freezer; please bring your all your own refreshments, or feel free to order pizza. Remember a table covering, plates and cups! Everything must be cleaned up within 2 hours.
Paint Your Own Pottery
Suitable for ages 3 through adult. 8 painters minimum
Cost: $40 party fee; includes 2 hours of facility and instruction; plus cost of pieces. (Choose from 6" tiles, mugs, plates, assorted animals, trinket boxes, pet dishes-- also special orders.)
Handbuilding with clay
Suitable for ages 3 through adult. 8 handbuilders minimum
Cost: $50 party fee which includes facility and instruction, plus $10 each for
baseball size ball of clay (one pound).
Instructor will suggest projects and assist in forming and glazing.
Will be fired, ready to pick up in two to three weeks.
Wheel throwing and handbuilding with clay
Suitable for ages 8 through adult. 3 available wheels, can alternate people on the wheel and watching, or can alternate throwing and handbuilding if parents can assist. Recommend 3 to 6 people-- check with instructor for larger groups.
Cost: $75 for two hour party, includes facility and instruction in wheel throwing, handbuilding and glazing; plus $10 for each baseball size ball of clay (or pot made).
If you would like to have a two hour party with no break, the cost is $100 plus clay.
Your pieces can be glazed wet, right on the wheel or the table, then once-fired. Pieces will be ready for pick up in two to three weeks.
