Art Exploration for ages 4-6
Dates: Fridays
Times: Morning class is 10-11am, NEW afternoon class 1:30-2:30
Cost: $48. for a 4 wk. session, join in any time!
Our Art Exploration classes are designed for children ages 4-6. Themes vary to include anything from children's literature to weather and the seasons. Your child will get to use tradtional materials as well as less common ones such as fiber, plaster, and fabric paints just to name a few. This is a drop-off class but parents are always welcome to stay if that makes your child more comfortable. Instructor: Megan Henderson To register: Fill in form below.
What will we be exploring in March and April?:
March is for Music! Let's bring in Spring with some sound! In this session, children will explore the relationship between the visual arts and music by creating their own musical instruments in clay, painting the music, and other fun activities!
April and Earth Day! With an emphasis on the environment, kids will really get their imaginations moving this session by reusing day to day materials to create one of a kind masterpieces!
NEW: Mom and Me Art Studio coming in March
Creative play for the little ones; and parenting gets a little easier when you do it in community! Dads, Grandparents and other caregivers are of course invited to join us. You are welcome to bring your own drinks/snacks. Drop in, casual playgroup atmosphere. (Details coming soon)

Girls Night Out (girls 9 and up)
Dates: Fridays
(winter 2010 schedule and activities coming soon!)
Time: 7-9 pm
Cost: $20.00 ($15.00 for 2nd participant from the same household)
Ages: 8 and up
Girls, grab a group of friends and meet at Whatever Works for an evening of music, munchies, ART, and lots of fun! Each month instructors Karen Markgraf and Megan Henderson will lead the girls through a differnt project. Each GNO is unique so don't miss out! We specialize in VMP's (very messy projects) and other cool stuff. See you there!
